7. Give some thought to your food budget: The one place that can be cut is the food budget. For instance, it’s cheaper to make your meals at home than to eat out all the time. It’s also healthier for you too. If you eat at home, it cost about one third of what it does when you go out to eat, and you won’t even have to put on your shoes. If you plan your meals for the week, you’ll make fewer trips to the store also and less food will go to waste. Plus, when you do go out, you can find places that don’t have waiters or waitresses which saves money on tips too. Just try to find food that is the healthier version if you go to a fast food place.
