4. Chamomile tea
Chamomile tea is famous for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps bring down a fever and promotes excess sweating. The tea has a calming and soothing effect on the nerves which is helpful in getting rid of the pain that may come with a fever. Additionally, it also counters the effects of congestion or sore throat.
- Take a cup of water and bring it to boil.
- Add in a handful of chamomile flowers.
- Let it steep.
- Strain the flowers out and let the water cool.
- Drink this twice a day for relief from fever.
